About New York Climate Rescue: New York Climate Rescue (NYCR) is an all volunteer, city-wide community group working to address global warming (a.k.a. "climate change") - the most significant environmental problem facing humanity today.
Our focus is on generating solutions to global warming in the New York City greater Metropolitan region.
Marc Brammer Executive Director of Marc Brammer is committed to climate change advocacy and policy analysis. As Director of Research for Innovest Strategic Value Advisors in New York, he has researched a number of reports on corporate accountability and environmental policy, including “Monsanto and Genetic Engineering: Risks for Investors”, “The Stuart Oil Shale Project: Implications of Carbon Emissions Constraints for Suncor Shareholders”, and “Dow Chemical: Risks for Investors” (Available at www.innovestgroup.com)
Mr. Brammer holds a Masters degree in Political Theory from the Graduate Faculty of the New School University . He has worked with the International Institute for Ecological Economics at the University of Maryland , and is currently a member of the Green House Network speakers group on global warming. He has spoken on climate change and corporate accountability at NYU, Columbia University, Pratt Institute, and The Center for Sustainable Energy at Bronx Community College.
