After establishing a track record in mounting world-class beauty
pageants over the last decade, Carousel Productions Inc. decided to
reinvent and improve the concept of beauty competitions for the new
millennium. Because many people admired and aspired to be a beauty
queen, Carousel believed beauty queens would be a good and effective
advocate of worthy cause, the protection and preservation of our
environment. To give life to this vision, Carousel organized and
launched in 2001 the MISS EARTH Beauty Pageant.
Earth Pageant
Productions aims to find a unique American woman who will proudly
represent her nation in fulfilling the ideals of the competition - that
beauty queens can be strong and effective advocates for Mother Earth.
She will become an advocate working on behalf of environmental
organizations, businesses and grass root efforts to educate, en light
and enlist the public. She will represent the United States in the
international and prestigious Miss Earth Pageant and spend endless hours
campaigning for Global Warming Awareness. The Miss Earth Pageant awards
four titles representing the four elements: Miss Fire, Miss Water, Miss
Air and Miss Earth. The Miss Earth title being the top honor.
